What’s the difference between the scrunchie sizes?
- Mega (6”) – Dramatic, statement-making, perfect for buns and high-impact styling.
- Midi (4”) – Everyday balance, our most versatile size.
- Mini (2”) – Subtle, delicate, perfect for braids, ponytails, or worn on the wrist.
What’s the difference between The Tiara Headband, The Halo, and The Wired Head Wrap?
- The Bandeau: A wide (6”) silk band with a hidden wire inside and tieable ends, allowing endless styling options while leaving hair partially visible.
- The Aureole: A full silk turban with internal metal inserts, giving the look of a tied wrap without needing to knot it.
Fabrics & Care
What’s the difference between silk, silk twill, and satin?
- Silk Charmeuse: This is the fabric we use for most of our products. It has a glossy, luminous surface and a soft drape. Our pieces are crafted in heavyweight, 100% silk, for durability and shine.
- Silk Twill: A textured silk with a subtle diagonal weave. It’s slightly crisper and more structured than charmeuse. Iconic houses like Hermès use silk twill for scarves because it holds its shape well.
- Satin: Satin is not a fiber but a weave. While satin can be made from polyester, nylon, or silk, only silk has the luxurious softness and natural hair benefits (less breakage, frizz prevention).
How do I care for my silk accessories?
- Gently hand wash in cool water with silk-safe detergent.
- Do not wring; press gently between towels to remove excess water.
- Lay flat to dry or hang away from sunlight.
- For best results, steam on low to refresh the sheen.
